Let me introduce myself.
I’m a busy mom of two who’s obsessed with making our house feel like home. Between work, school pickups, and everything in between, I’m always looking for ways to make our space more beautiful without breaking the bank or spending every weekend on projects. A few years ago, my husband and I bought our first real home, and I quickly realized I had no idea what I was doing when it came to decorating. I’d spend hours scrolling through Pinterest, saving gorgeous rooms that looked nothing like my reality of toys everywhere and crayon marks on the walls.
That’s when I started figuring things out – one room at a time, one mistake at a time. I learned that you don’t need a huge budget or a degree in interior design to create a home you love. You just need some inspiration, practical ideas, and the willingness to try. Now I spend my free time (what little I have!) hunting for affordable decor finds, testing out DIY projects that actually work for real families, and sharing what I’ve learned along the way. I’m not a professional designer – I’m just a regular person who loves a good before-and-after transformation and knows the struggle of wanting a beautiful home while living in it with kids and pets. I started this blog because I wished I had a friend who could show me the ropes when I was starting out. Someone who understood that my living room needs to look good but also survive movie nights with popcorn spills. Someone who gets excited about a great Target find and knows that “weekend project” sometimes means three weekends. If you’re trying to make your house feel more like you without spending a fortune or stressing yourself out, you’re in the right place. I’m so glad you’re here! Let’s make your space amazing together
